Close-up of severe plaque and tartar buildup on a senior dog's teeth

SENIOR DOGS ARE MORE VULNERABLE

Dental Disease Doesn’t Stay in the Mouth

Plaque and tartar can progress into periodontal disease, causing chronic pain, infection, tooth loss and jawbone damage.

In advanced cases, oral bacteria and inflammation may enter the bloodstream and have been associated with effects on the heart, kidneys and liver—a greater concern for senior dogs.

  • HEART
  • KIDNEYS
  • LIVER

And dogs often hide dental pain until the problem becomes serious.

I am SHOCKED at how well this product works. My 13 year old terrier hates brushing her teeth so she had a ridiculous amount of plaque buildup. I used it today for the first time and ALL her teeth look brand new! It’s so satisfying scraping all the crap off. My dog hates it but she finally got used to it by the end. Also, I was surprised at how quiet it is! It makes a little squeaky sound when it hits the tooth (like the ones at the dentist) but no loud obnoxious vibrating sound. The photos I tried to take of my squirmy dog don’t even do this product justice. It made such a difference! GO BUY IT NOW! It will save you $100’s cleaning your dog’s teeth at home vs. at the vet.

I have a 9yo black lab who is the biggest baby. The only way I can trim his nails is with a rotary that he’s mostly used to after +1year of use, but still makes him anxious. He’s needed his teeth deep cleaned for too long and I’ve been wanting to buy something like this forever. I read the reviews and decided why not. Out of the box, it had enough charge to clean his mouth to a point I didn’t think was possible. He was anxious, and I went in calm but with more excitement than I should, and I was able to clean them all. I’m glad there’s a sticker on it that says “no sound or vibration when powered on” because I honestly thought it was dead or not working right. After getting the hang of its most effective angle/grip, it TORE through the plaque. Just ripped through it in chunks and wiped away the remaining. It does make an extremelyyyy high pitched sound (but not loud) when it makes contact, but it really didn’t bother him much and he got used to it very quick. I was extremely surprised. It will probably not have to be used again for a very long time based on how clean his mouth is, but I plan to use it here and there mostly to keep him comfortable with it and less of a thing that gives him anxiety. It would’ve been a little easier with a second person, but I was able to do it myself and I’m honestly taken back at how well it performed. This is probably the best ROI and review I’ve ever given. I should’ve taken before and after photos, because I still can’t believe I was able to do what I did in 20min that’s been an issue for too long.

My dachshund is 9yrs old. She doesn't chew anything. She does catch and dig up rabbits. She had the dental procedure when she was 1. Her teeth have always been horrible. Her breath has been terrible all these years. I used this and was able to get 80% of her teeth clean in one cleaning. Her teeth were brown black and yellow. Real thick. Bad breath you can smell with her mouth closed or when she barked. I was getting ready to schedule another expensive procedure at the vet. This tool saved my pockets and having to put my girl under anesthesia. On the strongest setting I was able to get all of her teeth cleaned on the outer side. She did have a little bleeding which the instructions explained to be normal. Im really shocked it was able to get off 8yrs of build up. I will finish the inner side of her teeth another day since it does take a while and she needed a break. Her breath was instantly better. No more bad breath. Knocked one star because you have to make sure you're holding the tool at the perfect angle for it to work properly. I like the safety feature that it doesn't work on the gums. Only the tooth itself or else it will stop. I highly recommend even for senior dogs with years of buildup.

I’ve tried everything for my anxious dog’s dental care. This was the first thing he let me use without a fight. Honestly, it felt like a miracle!!!

This kit broke down plaque way better than any chew or spray we’ve tried. Super effective.

Absolutely amazing! If you have a well behaved dog- buy this product immediately! You will not regret it! Vet bills are expensive- and I wanted to be diligent with my dogs care, but also save money. My vet wanted to charge me $150 for anesthesia and teeth cleaning. I have a good dog and she is getting older (13), so I hated to put her under for a simple teeth cleaning. So I decided to try this because I knew she would sit still for me. And this product worked perfectly. The description is correct. It does not vibrate or make any noise. Which is great, because it won’t scare your dog. The plaque came off in big chucks, so I was able to grab it without her swallowing most of the plaque. It also removes the plaque fairly quickly. I would say, maybe under a minute per tooth. You do have to be careful not to get too close to the gum, because she did have little bleeding near the gum line. I immediately stopped using the ultra-sonic device, and used one of the pik tools this set included instead. I scraped the plaque near line, then continued with the ultra-sonic device. So, overall, it worked great. One of the best products for your pet! Now that her teeth are clean, I will start using a plaque additive to her water to help as well. Get this product- it’s a great device and a great price.

I absolutely love this tool my yorkies teeth had plaque on his back teeth and in the crevices of his molars. Brushing his teeth alone was not enough to clean them properly. The vet recommended getting them cleaned but I think $1000 dollars and having to be sedated was not an option. I purchased this and will get many more cleanings with it and also all the extra tools that came with it will save me thousands of dollars as long as I continue using this to remove the plague. My dog adjusted to this after only two times of introducing it to him. I highlly reccomend this product.

I am glad I bought it. The pictures are of the right side that I was able to clean and the left side that I did not clean yet. My dog has heart and lung issues. He can't be put under for dental cleanings. The tooth brush gives him panic attacks. I decided to give him calming medicine that he takes on the 4th of July and try to clean his teeth. The medication did start to wear off to fast. I gave him a low dose. I couldn't finish one side much less start on the other side but I am very much looking forward to doing this again over the weekend. My dog's teeth are so bad that it is having a negative effect on his health. I wish I found out about this project sooner. I have 4 dogs and will start doing this for each one of them. I have already noticed that his mouth is dosen't smell as bad. You can control the noise level with the power level. My dog only got the wiggles at the higher power level. The higher level was very effective at braking up that rock hard plack. My dog did tend to follow the device with his tongue but to be fair I have done the same thing at the dentist. I like all the extra goodies that came with the device even though this dog will not let me brush his teeth I have a dog that will let me use the tooth brush on him. I was grateful for the safety cap for easy storage. So far I am very happy with how this is going. I just wish I got this a few years sooner.
